Bicycles are, and have always been an important component of campus life.  When it comes to living an exciting and adventurous student life bicycles play a crucial role.  Organising and going to bike trips can be a great way to make new friends and socializing.  Biking can be very fun and liberating given that it enables students to save money on both public transport and gym membership.  Given that it does not require any fuel it produces zero emissions.  Most university students rely on their bikes for cross-campus and cross-town journey.  This is also a space saving mode of transportation as it takes a fraction of parking space and road space required for cars.  If more students rely on bicycles as their preferred method of transportations more of their campuses spaces will stay green.
