Can cycling be addictive? We all know how happy cycling makes us feel.  This activity simply embodies many distinct attributes which boosts out positive vibes.  But what is it that makes us love cycling so much?  As a matter of fact, our body works better when we are physically fit, and the aerobic exercise that we get from cycling is thought to be one of the best predictors of physical health.  As a natural consequence, being physically fit makes us happier and less prone to anxiety or depression.  In other words, cycling often enhances our mental health too.

Although most of times we enjoy riding a bicycle on our own, some of the best cycling experiences come when we do it as a group.  Cycling is social!  It provides people with a networking capability which very few sports have.

The bottom line is if cycling is addictive it is a positive addiction which not only benefits the environment, but also the individual who exercises on a regular basis through cycling.  In fact, cycling makes us happy in a way that playing football, swimming, or playing tennis cannot.  This form of exercise is very distinct from others, and given its physical and psychological benefits, it can become very addictive.
